The Launch of my Digital Guide!

The longest month of the year is over! The one where everyone is skint, cold and a bit deflated! I don’t actually mind January but I think it’s because it’s my wedding anniversary in the middle of the month and also this year my eldest son performed at the O2! His school has a choir and they take part in Young Voices, an amazing concert which is the largest children's choir concert in the world. It brings together primary schools from across the UK in a truly outstanding experience.

It was our 10th wedding anniversary this year so we wanted to do something special to celebrate. With having 3 children we don’t often get time together and we certainly aren’t often able to finish a conversation! My in laws very kindly babysat the children and we had a weekend in London. I had been wanting to go to Fair Game for quite a while so that was our first stop which was so much fun. We then headed over to Covent Garden, had a walk around the shops and visited a 90s bar which brought back fond memories of our childhood! Then on Sunday we had lunch at Dans le Noir?, an incredible dining experience where you truly cannot see anything! You are asked to leave any light sources (phones, watches etc) in a locker and you are introduced to your guide. Our guide was so clear with his instructions as he led us through the pitch black restaurant. We were served a 3 course meal and had to guess what we were eating, you are not told what you’ve consumed until you leave! It was certainly a meal we won’t forget.

Fairgame

So, ours was a busy January! However, in that time I was also able to really get back into work after the Christmas period. Alongside meeting clients and completing a room design on a lovely bungalow in Meopham, Kent I also focused on my work branching out into Neurodivergent design. As I mentioned in last month’s blog I have written a digital guide focusing on home design for ADHD and I will be launching it tomorrow! This guide is aimed at people who have ADHD themselves or live with someone who does, adult or child. It’s perfect for someone who may not be able to afford an interior design service but wants to design their home in the best possible way to support ADHD and not trigger any symptoms. The guide is purchasable for £10 and will be emailed to you along with a £20 voucher to use on any of my services. If you would like to purchase my digital guide please send an email to sophielawsinteriors@outlook.com and I will send you the payment details.
